Gibson D. Lewis Library’s promotion initiatives and campaigns are designed to increase awareness of library services, resources, and events, as well as engage UNT Health students, faculty and staff.

Location & Use Expectations

Providing inclusive events and open spaces for UNT Health campus is essential for fostering a sense of belonging, diversity, and community among students, faculty, and staff. Lewis Library offers three different spaces available by reservation. Events in these spaces should be free & open to everyone at UNT Health. Reservations for these spaces do not include tables or chairs. Complete a Facilities Work Order Form (submit 10 days in advance) for all furniture/event set-up requests.

Donation Bins

Our donation bins provide space for UNT Health campus departments, student organizations, and classroom groups to conduct collection drives for charitable or non-profit organizations.

Ways To Promote Your Event

Lewis Library implements various methods (e.g., tabletop signs) to promote events, in addition to those listed below. Please email us at hsclibrarypromo@unthsc.edu to discuss all of these options.

Digital Signage

Library digital signage promotes events happening within the library, as well as events sponsored by units housed in Lewis Library. We have some flexibility to run digital advertising outside of these parameters. Contact us for more information.

Community Board

Space for student organizations and departments to post their event and research announcement fliers with Lewis Library approval.
